Texas Association of Child Life Professionals is a membership organization that seeks to encourage and promote the health and well-being of children and their families in the health care setting by actively providing child life professionals, students and educators with professional growth opportunities by:
- Pursuing professional development and education within the role of a Child Life Specialist to Child Life professionals, students, educators, and the greater community.
- Following the standards of the Child Life Council.
- Providing a formal means of networking between Child Life professionals in the state of Texas and surrounding states.
- Promoting community education through the sharing and advocating of psychosocial care for children and families in the healthcare setting.
