President's Blog June 2020

June 2020

Hello TACLP Members! I have to admit that writing this blog post has been hard. We are currently living through a very new and uncharted experience with COVID-19 and quarantine. While I know for some it's business as usual, for others the world may have turned completely upside down. I sincerely hope that this message finds everyone well, but I also recognize that a more appropriate wish is for everyone to be hanging in there.

The TACLP board has recognized that the measures against COVID-19 has impacted our membership in ways that we can and cannot imagine. As we continue to plan our annual conference in October, we realize that it may have to look different in order to best serve our membership. Therefore we will be sending out a survey in the next week to identify conference hopes and needs of the membership. I ask everyone to respond to the survey so that the conference committee and TACLP board can create a plan that will meet the needs of our members for this year.

Additionally, have you heard the social media news? TACLP is now on Facebook! You can like and subscribe to the page at https://www.facebook.com/TACLPchildlife
